Christina DeFranco is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) and experienced yoga and mindfulness teacher who educates on the integration of mental, physical, emotional, and nervous system health.

With a background in Counselling Psychology, Kinesiology, and over 500 hours of yoga teacher training, Christina’s work bridges movement, breath, and mind-body education to help people better understand how stress, life experiences, and emotional patterns affect the body over time. 

In her speaking and teaching, Christina focuses on whole-person health — helping audiences understand how the mind, body, and emotions work together, and how simple, gentle practices such as movement, breath, and mindfulness can support physical comfort, emotional regulation, and overall well-being. Her presentations blend education with experiential practices, making them engaging, practical, and immediately applicable.

Christina works with individuals and groups across community, wellness, and professional settings, and is known for her calm, compassionate teaching style and ability to translate complex concepts into relatable, everyday language.

Christina was voted the #1 Fitness Instructor in York Region in 2021, and her Company was voted the #1 Business that Gives Back for their work with the community.
